Commonly called Pitahaya here, yellow dragonfruits in the rest of the world. It bloomed at midnight and I regret not being able to send the smell along with the photo. Hands down one of the most magnificent things I've ever had bloom in my garden.
What lighting was it taken with? And what would it look like if taken with ordinary flash (or if it survived to daylight)?
It didn't survive to daylight (eaten by errant bats, I suspect), however in normal light it was a white flower. That photo was taken with a handheld par64 VNSP (very narrow spot) spotlight at about a 50% dimmer level; the light source was about 3 feet from the flower.
