I'm pretty positve most of the plants I'm going to link are common because I've seen them around alot--actually I think one of them is regarded as a weed, but for some reason the names are just not clicking. I'd much like to know their common names over all. As I am not at my own computer, I'm just going to link them from my DevArt gallery. http://delectable-decadence.deviantart.com/art/Flower-blossom-11-90304703 I have searched through all my books on plants in Canada and just cannot find this one... I mean the alberta rose looks a tiny bit like this, but I know it's not because I have an alberta rose in my gallery. http://delectable-decadence.deviantart.com/art/Flower-blossom-10-90304625 At first I thought this was a type of thistle... at first glance it might as well be, but the stem and leaves were nothing like a thistle-- they were smooth. Then someone told me it looks like a type of sea holly... but it doesn't look very similiar... not to me at least, but then again I don't know much about it, hehe. http://delectable-decadence.deviantart.com/art/Flower-blossom-6-90304258 At first I thought this was red ginger... but I'm not so sure anymore. http://delectable-decadence.deviantart.com/art/Flower-blossom-4-90304102 I don't know where to begin with this... I didn't think it would be very hard searching for this one... http://delectable-decadence.deviantart.com/art/Flower-blossom-1-90303870 I thought this looked like a type of milkweed, this is the one that I've heard is regarded as a weed. anyway that's all I have to ID for now... but it won't be the last batch, hehe.
1. Possibly Rosa glauca, offhand. Is it cultivated or wild? 2. Centaurea dealbata 4. mock orange, Philadephus spp.? 5. Euphorbia spp., possibly Euphorbia polychroma but that's just a guess (a very commonly grown garden plant in these parts)
