Seeds sprouting

    I planted some seeds last year with very little success, but I didn't touch the pot they were in, and this year, I saw some sprouting. I think they are from a 'Sango kaku'.

    I also planted some Acer truncatum, which don't need stratification, and most of them are out now.

    Interesting, I have a few of the mystery seed from Beijing up, was wondering if they are truncatum. They had no cotyledons, just big round leaves somewhat like in your picture.

    I always keep seed trays 2 years (min) and usually get similar germination the 2nd year. I don't have much up yet except pectinatum, out all winter, which has about 20 little guys.

    Waiting on some wild pensylvaticum from the US (Maine), I had 3 germinate very early but they didn't make it. The rest are still in the fridge, I was really looking forward to this one.
