I have Seeded grapes and just planted seedless (or maybee not). I planted them next to each other and the seedless grapes have seeds. Is this because they are next to seeded grapes, or did they just sell me seeded grapes? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Pat
I'm not aware of any interaction from adjacent plants that could cause a seedless variety to produce seeds. I'd be more likely to suspect a supplier mix-up. Most reputable nurseries will replace a mis-labeled plant. What variety is it (them?) supposed to be? Where are you located (climate wise will do)? Ralph
A few of the University of Arkansas 'Planet Series' grapes can occasionally have small, soft seeds in them (especially, it seems, in cool summers). 'Venus' and, occasionally, 'Mars' are the ones I have seen this in.
Thanks for the Reply They are supposed to be Pink or Red Candice and Green Nimrod or something like that. It has been a while and I am located in Kansas right bye the Misouri River.
