    This plant was located in a very mountainous area of the Upper Big Piney Creek wilderness area in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, USA. Attached is a closeup of the seed pods and the other attachment showing the pods and leaves and stems of plant.

    Leaves are like those of Baptisia australis.

    might be Baptisia alba...grows wild in your range..
