seaside plant - Nantucket, USA

This plant was photographed in September (on the beach). It smelled like parsley. Any ideas?

 

From this site (http://www.digitalnaturalhistory.com/flora_apiaceae_index.htm), there are two species with narrow leaflets:
Carum carvi (http://www.digitalnaturalhistory.com/flora_apiaceae_index.htm#carumcarvi) and
Cicuta bulbifera (http://www.digitalnaturalhistory.com/flora_apiaceae_index.htm#cicutabulbifera).
The last one may be a potential call.

 

thanks for the suggestions. I don't know if C. bulbifera is salt tolerant at all (?) I imagine this plant will be difficult to identify with just the leaves...
