Searching for name of some plants

    Hello,

    I am a photographer and need help to find name of some plants. They were mostly photographed in South America. I appreciate if you help me find the names:

    The following photos are taken in south Peru, on the slopes of mountains north of the Cusco region.

    Britain zone 8/9
    #1 could well be a Polylepis species (native in Peru), but several other plants share similar flaky bark.
    #2 is a lichen.
    #3 is a Tillandsia (a bromeliad); not sure which species.
    #4 is probably a Bomarea species; again, not sure which one.
    Don't know about the others!
