I'm seeing red patches or rings and in the worst places, deformed leaves in new growth. This is in a few places on a well established 6' tree but much more on recent propagations from said tree. I've owned the tree for 8 months, watering weekly. Older foliage looks great. I've dealt with a few pests on the tree by removing heavily infected stalks, and spraying liberally with either hydrophobic extract of neem oil or potassium salts of fatty acids. Wondering if I could I have introduced a pathogen when trimming. Didn't sterilize clippers. Thanks for any suggestions.
I will follow your discussion carefully because I believe I have ring spots on a potted Agave very similar to those on your Schefflera which, despite careful research, I have not been able to identify and, consequently, cure. I hope you don't mind my intrusion!
