I recently acquired a Weeping Podocarpus which has adapted very well to its location and is showing abundant signs of bright new growth. However at various locations on the plant small, (less than 1/4 inch) bits of a very white substance have appeared which, in appearance look fuzzy, but when rubbed between my fingers feel slightly soapy in texture.

Any suggestions would be very welcomed. I really do admire this plant in its setting and would not want to lose it.

    Thanks

    Barrie
