How old is an Owari Satsuma tree when it first has fruit?

I take it you are talking about a tree that you started from a seed (a seedling tree). When a Satsuma is planted in the ground in a warm location such as Florida, or California an Owari generally will begin flowering at 5 or 6 years of age. This is, of course, if the tree is given good care. By good care I mean following the proper fertilizing schedule, watering and the keeping of all insects under control. If the tree is being grown as a container tree, where it must spend its winters indoors, the time frame could be 6-8 years. A grafted Owari is capable of fruiting in 1-2 years. - Millet
