I have a two year old Santa Rosa pluym that is thriving. I would like to know what other variety of plum would be the best pollinator?
Any Japanese plum will do, but I would also suggest a pluot, a cross between a plum and apricot. They're sweet and flavorful like a plum but with a pleasing firm texture. Flavor Grenade, Dapple Dandy, and Flavor King are three that I've tried.
