    Hello
Once again I have rescued an unwanted houseplant. It has been doing well, new leaves and blossoming but the crown which has no leaves is about 4" tall. It's a tad top heavy to say the least and is toppling over. I'd like to know what to do with it. Do I propagate new plants from leaf cuttings and/or repot it deeper so the crown is buried? Your advice please?

    You can do either.

    Or both.

Thanks Ron. That was along the line I was thinking. If one fails then I have the other. Do you feel it is too late in the season to start new? And, Is there anything I need to do to the crown (trim or pare) before reseating it?

Don't know optimum timing for Saintpaulia leaf cuttings. Presumably now would be most favorable, it being the brightest and warmest time of the year. To replant just get a deep enough pot and stick it in it.
