sago dilema

    Hi... I wintered my sago indoors until today, maybe not a smart idea?? anyway, some of the lower leaves turned brown..but heres my dilema awhile ago it sent up some really long shoots I thought that they were new leaves but they turned brown as well the centre area leaves are still green and appear ok any thoughts on this? I also need to know if it should be in full sun now?? thanx Brad...rookie guy

    Rather than bring it indoors (inside your house) during winter, try moving it to a frost free cool location. An unheated garage or similar will suffice. Bringing your Sago indoors where temps likely never drop below about 65f (18c) will produce week growth under lower winter light levels.
    Ease this plant back into the sun over the month of May.
