Russian Garlic

I bought some russian garlic. They still haven't sprouted yet. It is ok to plant them as is? I've already split the cloves. Thanks for any help

 

Yes and I think it may even be better to get them in before they sprout. Remember pointy end up.

I have grown 200 Russian Red for years. They may or may not sprout before Jan. They need good drainge. plenty of bonemeal, barely cover them with soil. I have a problem with crows pulling them up so I cover them with landscaping cloth untill Jan. In spring I give them some bloodmeal. Good luck!
