I have an 2 established Rudbekia plants that have developed some kind of reddish pest that seems to like the stem of the plant. They are numerous in number, and this is the first year that I have seen--they are very very tiny!! I dusted with an environmentally friendly powder--but was still wondering what on earth they are? What would you say is the best treatment for this?

Are They Very Tiny? Than It Sounds Like "aphids" They Can Be Yellow Or White Also. The Best Way To Get Rid Of They Is Hold The Branch They Are On And Spray With A Garden Hose On High. If You Found Any Ladybugs Bring Them To Lunch They Will Love The Aphids. Good Luck Mailgirl
