Pictures of plants at the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) Hamilton, ON.

Iris, Peony, Clematis, Liliacs were the main attractions at this time of year. It rained last night so all were not in pristine condition. The rate structure is now $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for seniors, and the parking meteres have been removed so parking is now free. There is much work going on; in fact, the activity reminds one of a bee-hive.
The RBG has been under financial strain for several years, but it looks lke things have been turned around. There are now few signs of the previous neglect. The gardens are close to me so I will make a visit several times this summer.

Lovely photographs! Thanks for posting. Like walking through a beautiful garden without the backache from bending and taking pictures. ;-)

I love the red peonies. The clematis were also exquisite and the wisteria arbor very inviting.
