Dear Madam/Sir, > I have a Rosemary plant that seems to be dying. I would appreciate any help I could receive to revive it. > I live in Miami, FL and I believe the climate here is semi-tropical. The plant in question is on my balcony on the 20th floor, overlooking the ocean which is approximately 1/4 mile away. It receives full sun from dawn until about 1pm and for the rest of the day it is in bright light. I give it moderate amounts of water every day. The plant was originally purchased in November, 2009. It was doing well until about two to three months ago. Now many of the branches have become completely dry and appear to be dead. The needles on the remaining branches have turned from dark green to a greyish green. > What can I do to revive this plant? > I also have a "provence lavender" potted plant that seems to be drying at the point where it meets the soil. I would be most grateful for any help you can provide for these two plants. Thank you. >
You're overwatering. They can go several days without water. In nature those plants don't get water for several months at a time. Buy new plants and water only when the soil is dry at a depth of 1inch.
