The following was received via email: I live in Sidney BC and belong to the Penninsula Garden Club. We moved into our house less than five years ago and have a beautiful rose bush in the back garden, which we know is +25 years old and perhaps more. The bush "fountains" in growth pattern to +4 feet, has pink flowers which appear to almost be divided into quarters. It is intensely perfumed, once blooming, almost impervious to any pests or diseases, except rust, has soft green leaves, no thorns near the flowers. The thorns are on the hard wood only. The flowers have approximately 100 petals. The local nurseries are stumped; the experts in the garden club are stumped. Their best guess is a Gallica called Nestor. I do hope you can assist us in this matter....we're all extremely curious. Thanks very much for listening.
