    Dear all,
I was reading this conversation and wanted to share my question with you.
I also have a rose that changes its color, I am talking about the same flower starts with bright Yellow then starts developing Red on the edges then goes to complete Orange and ends up at the end with a complete different color. Every 24 hours i see new color, I hope i can photograph it everyday to show you all the colors the same flower goes through.
    Is this normal? or common?
    Thanks

A Colour or shade change in rose flowers is very common. In my garden of approximately 800 roses, I have found that the weather conditions play a big part in the colour of the roses. Some rose colours are brighter with more sunshine and some roses are brighter in cooler weather conditions. As mentioned most rose blooms will change colour as it ages. And of course there is the "famous" Masquerade" which had flowers in several different colours at the same time, similar to 'Joseph's Coat'. Roses are always interesting!
