Hi There I saw in a televised program, a good and healhty banan tree beeing cut vertically and the Pup extracted and used in a lab to produce hundreds of new banan tree inhereting the same caracteritics as the original tree mum. I want to know if this only possible with the banan species, or other trees too. ie Plam trees? I also want to know, what is the procedure called and what is exactly being extracted from the roots of the nanan tree. many thanks
