I used Killex concetrate on my lawn. Forgot to mix it with water. Yes... I know... rookie mistake! I have attached a picture of what my lawn looks like now. Any chance it will grow back over time? Anything I can do to it now to help the way it looks?

Thanks for not laughing too hard. :)

for certain - make sure NO pets / wildlife on your lawn - or kids - rinse it out, rinse, rinse w/ clean water. I know some people say no worry but i'd rather err on caution side

what is the main ingred of the product you used - 24D?

i mean, in the okanagan, many of the vineyards spray RoundUp product - and it drifts - like there's no tomorrow. So I am not sure how to interpret all the warnings and so forth as it all seems commonly used on the high-end lifestyle crops.

i'd rather be careful, esp w/ kids, pets, wildlife.

... i'm sure this has crossed your mind already - either hand-dig the dandelions - or let them be (or the clover etc) - less water use too. The dandelion digging is kind of therapeutic, actually - something other gardeners may relate to - not many of us have paid jobs where we see direct results!

I don't think it's a laughing matter. It is supposed to be diluted to a .6% concentration--meaning you've used it at over 150x the recommended concentration. I would dilute, dilute, dilute--or, perhaps better, dig up (with appropriate protective gear) the lawn in those areas and take it to the Abbotsford Mission Recycling Depot (maybe I'd call first).

    After that's done, resod.
