Identification: Roadside flowering shrub: Galiano Island

    Need help identifying this plant. It grows in abundance along the roads on Galiano Island, BC. The plants are probably 10-15 feet tall, with clusters of dirty white blossoms that hang downward as in the photos below. The leaves have at least 7 distinct points.

    This is almost certainly Ocean Spray, Holodiscus discolor, which is abundant on overgrown old logging roads all around southwestern BC.
