This Euphorbia is growing in Derby Reach Park Langley BC. There are old homesites nearby & I think it may be a garden escape. I know some Euphorbias are classed as noxious weeds. I don't recognize it from the lists I have found. This one is naturalized, but behaving itself - lurking in corners & looking attractive.

    Note 3" penknife for scale.

    Any ideas on species? TIA.

Yes it is a noxious weed. It spreads rapidly by underground stolons.

Yes, it's invasive; introduced to the US and banned in several areas here. Beware the sap/latex, it's toxic/causes nasty rash. If you think it's behaving itself, it's probably busy putting out lots of roots and will appear everywhere, next.
