Rio Grande Cactus Submission

    Los Altos, in the San Francisco Bay Area, Californ
    I took this photo last September, on a trip to Taos, New Mexico. I don't know what kind of cactus it is, as I am not an expert on cactus. Anyone have any guesses?

    I found it on the rim of the canyon for the Rio Grande, not far outside of Taos.
