Ribes for identification

    This was improbably named R. laurifolium, if you can see the label. The best I can come up with is R. thacherianum? but maybe someone knows better.

    Hi Silver surfer, thanks for that. It certainly seems close, if not on the money. Have you seen R. thacherianum? It is on Wildscaping.com site. I don't know these Ribes at all, apart from R. speciosa.

    I had a good look on www at Ribes thacherianum. To me the flowers seemed very sharp, clear red and white, with thorns. Where as Ribes lobbii I thought had similar colours to yours more pink and red, pics also show thorns
