Rhododendron ID

    This rhododendron is in the Hailey Grove rhododendron garden in Bowen Park, Nanaimo. I've searched a number of databases but have been unable to identify it. It is similar in appearance to the "Robin Hood" in the Milner Garden in Qualicum Beach. If anyone can identify it from these photos, I would appreciate it.

    May be hybrid of Praevernum or itself?.Could also be sutchuenense subs.fortunea X.

    Thanks for your reply. I believe it may be either the sutchuenense or a form of. I found an almost identical photo at the Valley Forge chapter of the ARS and the photo at the ARS itself looks very similar to mine as well. Thanks again, Judy
