We purchased a house four years ago which (apparently) has over 200 rhodo and azalea plants on the property. It's simply stunning but I have no idea how to care for them. Pretty much all of them appear to be in great shape but some definitely need love, primarily pruning. When is the best time of year to prune rhodos?

Also, I'd prefer to hire someone to do the pruning as I'm really not much of a gardener. Could anyone recommend a gardener that has lots of experience with rhodos?

    Thanks,

    Isabelle

Very nice! It sounds like it would be worth your while to attend the annual Vancouver Rhodo Society Show and Sale tomorrow and talk with the experts directly to find someone to help you maintain them.

    Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately, I can't attend tomorrow. Can you recommend someone I can contact directly?

    Thanks,

    Isabelle

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't know the membership of the VRS well enough to advise who to contact re: recommendations. I'll try to remember to ask a colleague, but he is not back at work until next week.

    Prune right after bloom.
