Found this in ornamental plantings. Looks like a Rhamnus, but I could not find such rounded petals and undivided style among Rhamnus species. Most pictures on web are obsessed with berries and only few show flowers. Any clues?
    Thanks,

    Andrey

    I believe it is Euonymus.
Possibly Euonymus grandiflorus which is flowering now.
Sorry only pics I could find were on flickr.... normally a last resort for adding as a link! Note on 2nd link says taken at UC Botanic garden Berkeley, California So may be accurate.

With us Euonymus kiautschovicus is another later season flowering Euonymus.

Thank you, Silver! I see where I took a wrong turn, now: I did not notice the reduced sepals and thought this is a perianth with a single whorl.
The photo with berries is beautiful! Will wait for the fall now to see mine.
