This picture is from last summer. I wish I had a close-up of the flower, but I don't ... I'm hoping this is enough to identify it!! My sister's elderly neighbor always called these plants Resurrection Plants, but these aren't what comes up when I search the web. I bring them in before the first frost in the fall and put them in the basement and don't touch them until spring. After the threat of frost is over, I bring them up, divide them, water them, and I get these beautiful vibrant purple flowers with deep green leaves. The underside of the leaves is a purplish color. The seeds are kind of white/pink tubes. I've been scouring the web for years looking for the name of this plant. Does anyone know?
