I rescued this plant from a shop that was closing. It was thirsting and starting to yellow. I have given it a serious haircut and hope that it will make it. Does any one recognize it? It's some kind of succulent I believe. It has leaves a lot like a yucca but I'm not sure what it really is.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Looks like Dracaena sp.

I was thinking Yucca guatemalensis, but Junglekeeper's right: it could also conceivably be a Dracaena.

Could be yucca. Hard to say for sure. However the multi-branched base is more typical of the dracaenas sold in stores. A close-up picture of the stem might help.
