I have a beautiful swiss cheese plant that I have noticed needs urgent potting. Due to moving home and working lots I neglected to check this plant earlier in the season. Would it harm the plant if I repotted it now in Sept, but equally if I left it until next spring would this damage it? The roots are massively poking out as you can see from the photo. Any advice is welcome!

Thanks so much for this!! I will check out the link now. It's still a pretty young plant and seems to be growing at the rate of knots! Will repot today and make sure it's a good sized pot to accommodate for growth!

You're welcome. Take note of the recommended soil medium near the end of the article; it may be useful as you are repotting your plant.
