repotting my coconut palm

    I was wondering if anybody would know if when you repot a coconut palm from a smaller pot to a 25 gallon pot if you bury the coconut or still leave it half in half out? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

    When I bought mine from the nursery, they had it half in and half out. Mine is in the ground now and is going great...

    Thank you Ed Mine is about 6 feet tall and I have been using Dr Qs palm food and It seems to like it and I also ad super thrieve in with the water I use it with all my palms.
    Do you have a pic of your coconut I would love to see it.

    Tom, I didn't realise it was that big. IMHO it wouldn't matter if it was completely under the soil now. I am at work and don't have a photo of it here, but if you look in Outdoor tropicals under "Brugmansia flowering" you may be able to see it there...

    Is it on this site? My pics are on my pics 2008 I have many different kinds of palms. Where exactly is Brisbane Queensland Australia? What is your winter like?

    Yes it is on this site.
    Well its in Australia in the North East. Queensland is the state that goes nearly to Papua New Guinea and Brisbane is in the SE corner. We are sub tropical and winter goes down to around 4 degrees Celcius...

    Sounds nice I checked out your pics and you have a beautiful garden how long did it take to grow them?

    That garden is nearly 4 years old, and except for the mature trees on the edge, that garden was lawn when we moved in!!
