   Is it too early to start to beautify my lawn? It's in terrible condition--thankfully no chafer beetle--and needs some levelling, seeding, not sure about dethatching, not sure about demossing. I aerated last fall. But when to start??

   Dethatch, don't waste you money on demossing, add sand, and fertilizer appropriately for the season.
