It's very difficult, (understatement,) to remove those ugly dead dropped flowers that, unfortunately, look like cat or dog 'poop', that are left around the dear Queen as it goes 'quiet.' Solution: Try using those inexpensive, plastic, doggy-doo picker-upper tongs. It really has solved the problem I was having. Another hint: Use a long pole or rake to knock off ripe fruit...then use the tongs. Thereby, avoiding the difficulty of the fruit falling so close to the 'stickers'. PS: Sure would love a recipe to make jam or jelly with the fruit. MickeyC
