Removing Holly Branch

    If I remove ( to let light into my yard ) one of two large Holly branches to leave the one that is almost a straight continuation of the trunk, will that remaining branch/trunk produce limbs on its currently barren side that is closest to the branch being removed?

    Hollies are very tolerant of pruning, you have nothing to worry about.
