I have several Apple Trees, do I need to pull the small apples off now or will they fall off on their own.

It's always a good idea to remove old fruit from trees (and the ground) as soon as possible, to minimize the spread of disease and pests.

Not the old fruit, the new growth.

(changed thread title, was unclear when moving this post out of an archived area that the original poster was referring to new fruit)

Some will, some will not. You can do the thinning any time, the best is when you can already see which fruit is of inferior quality and remove those.

If you're referring to this year's new apples, you should probably wait until after the "June drop", which probably occurs earlier in your cllimate, before you thin the apples. Depending on pollination success and other factors, some trees lose a rather large percentage of new apples during this period.
