I'm interested in the common and latin name of this plant species. It grows in and around Kamloops and is brilliant russet red against the white edges of alkaline ponds. Seems to be a succulent, grows to heights exceeding 8 inches and has a woody or fibrous root system Any life history info or wildlife/human use info would also be of interest. Thanks
