Identification: Red fungus

    I would like to identify this fungus found growing in eucalypt forest near Glenbrook, Nsw Australia. Even the genus would help. Unfortunately there is no picture of the underside.

    After much searching I came up with the same result, but I wasn't so sure about it. Thanks for the confirmation.
    All the pictures I saw confused me, that picture of the Cortinarius archeri is the first I've seen with the exact colours.

    Well done, I was searching for "red fungi" It definitely is magenta.
