Help me please, I've had two dwarf Red Delicious apple trees for around 15 years they often will yeild a lot of fruit but it isn't eatable, the apples are misshaped, some very small some weirdly large, alway slightly bitter and almost a dry tase to them like a dry wine. What's the problem and what can I do for it
You will want to remove the smaller apples for the benefit of the larger ones. Fruit trees require a lot of maintenance, and a number of things can go wrong. See if this site helps at all: http://counties.cce.cornell.edu/allegany_cattaraugus/hort/Fruits.htm
