Red Berry Identification

    I saw these berries along side the road in Mt. Gretna PA. We have seen many people out picking these berries over the past month, and I am curious as to what they are! I thought at first they were raspberries, but they don't really grow like I thought they should. There is one leaf per berry...

    ?Rubus idaeus. Wild raspberry. There are lots of it in our area.

    Looks like not fully ripe blackberries, perhaps Rubus allegheniensis. 100% some kind of Rubus, black/rasp berries.

    Concur 100 % with Raimond --- not-ripe blackberries.
