I just purchased a beautiful red bark maple tree in a wood container, but the leaves look like it has fungus. I love this tree and have great expectations for it... I planned to plant it inground cause I thought I had to. I would love to leave it in a container on the patio. But first things first, can I save this tree. I can return it, cause I have only had it 3 weeks... Does anyone have any suggestions?
Can you post a photo? Or describe what the leaves look like in more detail? My first impulse would be to return it, if the nursery has healthy replacement trees in stock.
