Recently transplated weeping willow turning yellow

Discussion in 'Woody Plants' started by Unregistered, Jun 11, 2005.

  1. We bought and planted a 12 foot high weeping willow tree 3 weeks ago. Giving it plenty of water. All of a sudden leaves are turning yellow and dropping. Any idea?

    Thanks.

Rootball may be drying out despite 'plenty' of water, due to differences in texture between material (potting mix or actual soil) on roots and soil around it. Poke around inside the rootball, you may be surprised.
