I live in Comox on Vancouver Island. I want to plant 3 different grape varieties that are adapted to this area, productive, suitable for table consumption and for making wine. My friend told me that Interlaken and Niagera Red are both good varieties for this area. Unfortunately I cannot locate Niagera Red in any of the nurseries. I would welcome some advice on what varieties would do well here.

...may I add my request into this? I think it fits.

I am looking for a table grape to grow in the Fraser Valley. Not Concord type (I don't really like the taste of Concords). I checked the grape thread on the forums & couldn't get an idea of what might suit.
