Really need the name of this gymnosperm

    this is the last gymnosperm i have...

    i really need the name of it ASAP!

    Spruce. Look for fresh (still intact) cones under it and show some of those against a piece of paper or other suitable background for commentary on species identification.

    hmm thats surprising

    i didnt think it looked like the norway spruce

    i was leaning toward the red spruce...

    Well unless someone with more experience with conifers
    chimes in I go with Norway Spruce. Your specimen looks
    too broad at the base for Picea rubens.

    it does kinda look like a norway, but i am a newby in bio...

    Norway Spruce Picea abies. The cones (visible in the whole tree pic) are much too large for Red Spruce.

    I put Norway Spruce,
