Cyphostemma mappia (Mauritius endemic) Leaves of Cyphostemma are very variable - in the species description in the Flore des Mascareignes it says: "Leaves 8-12 cm, variable on a same plant, bipinated, pinated, trifoliated or simple." Young leaves tend to be more variable than mature leaves (usually simple). The trunk and architecture of the plant are very recognizable.
