I just bought 6 raspberry canes from the market. Can they be planted with my other vegetables in my new raised beds. Are they low maintenance?
I am thinking I might have made a mistake buying them????

Raspberries are usually planted along a fence or on the north side of a garden, to avoid shading the vegetables. They also spread readily into adjacent beds, unless there is a physical barrier blocking the root runners.

Thanks. I will place them along the fence line but not put them in my raised beds due to runners.
