I planted one Rasburry bush 3 years ago. It has spread and now I have about 20 bushes I the planted area. I pruned the bushes according to a gardening book and the plants grew gang busters this year. But this year, very few fruits - probably less than 20 berries. Last year I had several hundred berries and expected a lot more this year. Suggestions for fertilizer, pruning, time to prune, how to encourage the plants to be more prolific. Thanks - WGB

Raspberries generally only produce fruit on second-year wood: [WIKI]raspberry[/WIKI]. If things went well this year for green growth, expect a good crop next year.
