I am trying to grow some new raphis from my already existing. Through my research I only found two suggestions on propagation...seperating suckers, and just not to try. Is the suckers a good idea? If so, is there a method that I should try to follow?
The best suggestion I can make is to keep the parent(s) healthy and dig the pups and be sure to take enough root. A three stem potted raphis transferred to the ground is now a 5 foot by 10 foot plot. This is after eight years and selling several 3 gallon pots of them in our Master Gardener plant sales.
