In The Garden: Random growth in flower pot

    Hello, this started growing in one of my outdoor pots and i'm not sure what it is. Hoping someone here can help me. thanks!

    I suspected milkweed. I'm not familiar with milkweed but from what i have read, milkweed has small white hairs. This plant is completely smooth.

    Apocynum is another possibility - very similar pattern.
