I'm trying to identify a rampant red leaf plant that has taken over my container gardens. Shiny maroon leaves, red stems, leaves opposite, 3 inches. I don't have a photo at the moment. IT roots easily, like coleus, but the leaf is all one color, and a bit leathery. I am not a botanist so don't know all the correct terminology.
If you know a site that helps with leaf identification, please tell me where to find it.

Beefsteak plant it is, thanks much. I wish everything I grew was a successful as this.
I looked it up on Google, and the photos there confirmed it.
